ITS ALIVE!!! ITS ALIIIVVE!!

Believe it or not its running in this shot, you can just bearly see the prop tips blurred. With the flash and the dark corner it looks like its just setting there. If you look close you can even see a bit of exhaust blast. Still have some teething problems but its going to be a good runner. I'm doing this in the basement so I can't keep it up for a longtime. I love the smell, my honey hates it.

Most excellent Randy! It will look and sound even better on a plane. But the smell will never be as sweet as in the basement. What a great Hobby!

Its a diesel buddy, it uses ether, kerosene and castor oil with a touch of amyl nitrate.

Super job. Must be a great feeling to take some rough metal and turn it into machine to spin a prop! This could make you BOE compliant and well as BOM compliant at the next contest. Congratulations.

BTW, I am sure that my spouse would be a little more vocal than just expressing some issues with the smell.

Its pretty cool John, I'm kind of anxious to get going on the stunt .65. I hope to fly with it this summer, I'm really gonna' try to get some good handle time this spring, you guys are leaving me behind too fast.

Bet we could get real close in the spousal vocalization practice!

This is one of the coolest post!! Needless to say, you are probably capable of building your own super stunt motor. Imagine, total control over the blow-down, timing, where the engine breaks in the pattern etc.
