I have about four Norvel glow engines sized
.049-.074 and like them.

I saw this recently on the Norvel website.
I e-mailed Sig and asked if the engine is suitable as a
stunt engine and if Norvel provided N.V.A / Venturi ?
Here's the response from Sig (Justin was quick with a response)

"Hi Paul,

We do not have a venturi for the 40.
The timing is a little off but we are looking into it too and have not used one
on a C/L model yet."

With a suitable venturi you could just run it in the high RPM low/ pitch prop mode like is done with other modern 40's. It's a little on the heavy side, although if it is a BB motor the weights not too bad.

If it is like the 15 revlite engine the vibration should be minimal, based on engine reviews the 15 is supposed to be one of the smoothest running engines made. This would make it a good engine for a profile. The timing seems to be too high as max horsepower comes at 16,000 would require a prop with somewhere around a 3" pitch.

Thanks Elwyn, the engine is a ball bearing.
