OS.32 F gets kinda hot...

My OS.32F runs well ai 11 - 12 G, vut on summertime it is prone to euveheating.

O thought of making a set of fins like Al Rabe did on one of his ST.46's.

Or use more castor.

Or have o nachinisr meke anther head withmore and higher fins.

Wooukd it be a sacriledge to enkarge the 2.5 mm holes to 3 mm ?

3 mm screwa are all around here, but the, 2.5's are made of "unobtanium".

Hello Ion I too am runnin' O S 32's one is the 32F and 2 are 32 SX's but I don't have overheating problems.. Do you have enough front and rear openings for coolin'?? The rule I use is 2x larger on the outlet versus the inlet..
Also I am runnin' 22% oil 11% castor-11% synthetic and 5-7% nitro.. Our summer days get 98-100 deg F with humidity also up to these figures.. Another thing I do is run a 10 inch prop with the head slightly "hemi cut" this lowers the compression ratio slightly so they don't run quite as hard..
I tach mine at 10,000--10,300 with a 10x5 apc prop and on 62ft lines eye to eye my lap speeds are about 5.15-5.3 plenty of line tension everywhere..
