Just recently got one of these kits off of Da Bay. I was wondering if anyone remembers this kit and how much it sold for back then? I have checked Tom's web site and it is no longer listed. Did any of you out there ever build this kit and if so your opinions are most welcome here. Thanks.

I have no claim to fame, I build more planes than I fly, collect more kits than I build. That about says it, right?
I purchased a Neptune kit from Tom Dixon in the early 90's and later sold it to someone in the Quad Cities. It seemed I paid $80-$100 for it, and as I recollect, it was a very good kit. Larry Lindburg

If the kit was made by "Hobby Enterprises" in Fruitland Pk., FL, the rep is for nice wood, but poor fitting parts. Still, I'm not sure how important that would be, with an I-Beam wing, which I'm pretty sure the Neptune is. I have a Shark 45 kit from the same outfit, with one of T.Dixon's old return addresses, and a postmark from '92. Steve
