The pics say it all. Be sure to leave some slack in the stariner to form a little funnel inside the yogurt container. This keeps the paint from spilling all over.

You can also get free paint strainers from your local auto paint store.
But the yogurt is healthy and the stockings have to come from somewhere? Possible adding a bit of fun to painting!

That's what I use. When I got paint the last time, the guy put the paint in a box with like 30 of those bamboo swizzle sticks and a huge stack of paint strainers; maybe 40 of them. Not sure why, I only bought 4 pints of paint.

Patrick is right and stockings are completely FREEE!! About every two weeks I find many pairs hanging from the shower curtain rod when I go visit the bathroom. I don't know where they come from. Truthfully, I have a giant stack of auto paint strainers. Used to get them free for aircraft paint too. I never use them anymore, but since I just typed that, I'm due for a giant piece of trach to hit my nozzle.
