classic stunt

is a Banshee with 2 inches cut off the front legal in classic stunt ?

It's not classic legal at all, too new. The cutoff is 1969.

If it were, generally speaking, the mod would make it non-eligible.

Actually, there is no provision for being "non-eligible". You might take a hit on fidelity points, but *you can make any mods you want* and you can't be DQ'ed.

It isn't classic-legal.

If you went to the SIG contest is Iowa, they will allow any SIG plane except the Magnum to be flown in "Classic". This is of course that you are on SIG's playing field. I really have no problem with that at Montezuma, but overall the Banshee is not Classic legal and should not be flown in Classic. Nor is the Twister, or Mustang kits either.

Check out the PAMPA Classic Book put together by Tom Morris for interesting designs and ideas for Classic. I carry this and the OTS book with me to any overnight stays at contests. Beats watching the "tele" with mostly boring stuff unless it has Speedvision, the History Channel or Sci Fi.

The Trianic is now completely glued together. It weighs 42.9 ounces total so far with no finish and a Randy Smith PA 40 with rear exhaust muffler for power.

Will start red see through Micafilm today, will visit Charlie Reeves and hope to have it totally covered by the end of Thursday. Then I will begin Polycrylic and X-O Rust finish with red like I did to the Barnstormer. View the Banstormer on Stuka at about the third page on the forum.

Like yellow will be like red.

I saw the Barnstormer, very nice. I did not have a "template" for the canopy, only one sewed together "canopy". Doesn't look like it would have worked with the work you referred to.
I am waiting to see the "Trianic"!!
