NEED HELP: can anyone tell me the differences between the Mel Anderson Spitfire and the later ones produced by Bob McCord? I know some had the cam on the shaft, others on the drive washer. Are there any other noticable changes? ( [email protected] )

The Anderson Spitfire in front of me is a 6100 series and the cam rides just behind the drive washer. It is hard to tell, but the drive washer itself and the camshaft may be an assembly pressed onto the shaft as a single unit. Weighs 13 oz with the tank attatched. Hmmmm....closer inspection, the drive washer is pressed against the camshaft which is just a ground part of the crankshaft. So the cam rides on the crankshaft on this one.
