2 new airframes

Finished these 2 recently
1.Brodak Cardinal profile from kit-no mods 43 ounces
Saito 40--11 x 5 Master prop--15% fuel--60'lines
Morning of test flights was 12-15 mph wind with gusts to 18 !!
managed 2 flights in spite of this
Line tension was better upright than inverted but I will wait
for better weather to start trimming
2. Is from Alberto Parra's plan for 25 size Sukhoi profile
this is a take apart model, almost fit in a brief case!
ASP 15 motor --50' lines--28 ounces
This also flew very well in the wind
I am quite pleased with the results

looks nice, what is it covered with?

Mine is almost finished and the projected weight is going to be around 47-48 oz. I'm using a metal tank which is at least 1 oz heavier than the plastic one on your plane.

Wings, tail covered with Solarfilm
fuselage has 2 coats thin dope,rubbed down then sprayed
3 mist coats of Solarlac
This design flies better than I can
my next target is to learn square loops
