Looking for Sterling "Viper" plans.

Hi fella's. I am hopeing someone out there can help me. One of my youth from last years group is still hanging around my house pestering me about building another plane. I told him to look through the kits available to be built by the youth group (more about this in another thread) and of course he couldn't find anything he liked. Nothing looked "cool" enough or "tough" enough for him to be seen flying it in public (sound familiar to everyone with a teen?). So I told him to look through my 1/2A plans and he comes back with a 1/2A Mustang. Cool....we can do this. Wrong....he flips it over and shows me an ad on the back for the Sterling "Viper" 1/2A and says it is cool and has a kick a** name! Anyone that can help me out? If not I may have to de-cool my guy a bit.

I built one way back when, so I'll look through the plan box some time tomorrow -working tonight. Hope I still have it. It flew like the proverbial bat out of heck on a good BW.

I've got a Viper kit buried around here somewhere. Haven't opened it in years. Did it come with full size plans?

yeah there is one on Ebay...the guy sells them all the time...I guess he has a few lying around.

Too bad he will only ship to United States.

Can't figure out why so many people want to limit their market.

why not get it shipped to someone you know in the states and have them forward it to you....thats what I do, I live in New Zealand and get stuff from people that ONLY ship to the lower 48.....HA little do they know eh.....

I have a Viper kit. Will take me a couple of days to get the plans copied then I will send them. E-mail me with your address.

I have the Viper plans copy and it will go out in today's mail. The text instructions came out a little light, but are readable. Looks like a neat little airplane. Think I might build this one. I have a Cox Killer Bee that should be plenty of power. A killer bee in a viper - sounds deadly!

Can't thank you enough; my young man had all but given up. You have done a wonderful thing for one of my disposable youth. So little is good in their lives that they believe they are not worth anything. Its not a good thing to see. I saw a new light in his eye. Of course now its going to be a race to the mail box every day! Maybe it will reduce this rather combersome belly I have somehow grown over the winter! Peace be with you, and thanks again.
