Actually I just mailed the sanction app and was waiting for it to come back before the announcement in the Upcoming Events forum. But since you asked I have applied for August 14-15 with alternate dates of Aug 21-22. So tentatively that's where we are. We've never been bumped so I'd say with reasonable certainty that 14-15 are solid. I will post the announcement and flyer just as soon as I have the sanction.

Randy, any chance you could add it to the calendar on the pampa website? If you need any help to get this done, let me know. I'll gladly help.

I intend to Steve, but like I said, I haven't recieved the sanction yet.

Hi Randy, Thanks for the response! I'll save your dates in the hope that there won't be any black-outs this time! I called the AMA to find out about our own sanctions requested for our 12th UC Fun Fly, which will be 7-17&18-04 and the Western PA Stunt Championships which will be 8-28&29-04. We will be offering Profile and OTS on Saturday, and PAMPA classes on Sunday. In addition we will be offering all skill classes in ALL events! Just like last year only we'll be a two day affair this time! Your Michigan group realy did well in both events last year. Perhaps you might join us this year as well!

AMA is changing Isurance carriers or negotiating with their existiing carrier and so they are holding back on sending out Sanction noitces until the correct policy and numbers can be noted on their papers. You might give them a call to see if your dates are solid! Use the 800 number and ask for Competition, its #2 I think.

Hi Again, This afternoon I received both sanction numbers from a very nice lady, Amy Wilson, who is the Competition Coordinator at AMA. She confirmed what I had posted here earlier but most importantly she has assured me, a wory woort, that our dates and activities are secure. Now I can get flyers made up and into circulation for all our expected guests!

Phil, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. The instructions on the main page explain how to get your password.

The reason the membership listing requires one to log in is to protect members' information from SPAM harvesters. There are programs that scan internet websites for email addresses and then use them to send out SPAM. We wanted to make members' information safe thus the requirement to log in.

Phil if you think of a way to make things easier please let me know.

Steve, Thanks for the reply and explanations! You wern't mean but thanks for your concern! I was one of the grandfathered older members and had no trouble before. Couldn't imagine why I should have a problem now! Will try again and see if it works.
