Peter Soule's site will not work for me.
I would like to see the lineII file, but cannot get it opened.
Don't have a clue as to what I am doing, or not doing, wrong.

EDIT: Brett had included a reference to this in Ted's post on lead outs. I couldn't get it to work, I think that what I need is another link to the site. (??) I didn't make that very clear. Really not sure myself, but I want to get into the link! LOL!!!!

I just checked it, and it worked for me. Click on the URL I listed in the other thread. You should get a directory listing. Most of the way down the list, is "lineII.zip". Click on that, it should download and open.

If that doesn't work, I really have no idea how to make it work. This seems to be completely platform/browser-independent- I just now tried it on 4 different systems (Mac, PC, Sun UNIX, Alpha UNIX) with about 10 different browsers.

Can you give us a little more info?
Does the URL work for you?
Are you able to download the zip file, but don't know what to do with it?
Are you able to get the zip file unpacked and the executable won't run?

I need to get a clue.

Ok, just remember, I don't get "technical" with these here 'puters! LOL!!
I can get to the list, and when I click on the lineIIzip link, I get an error message saying that I cannot open it. Says something about "not properly encoded in an email message" or something. I really believe it must be in the server/system we run here. Don't know, wish I did!
I will try tonight on my home computer and see if it works there.
I have unzipped many files on it.
I was kinda hoping that Brett, or someone, had another link or site available to access, with that file on it. Sounds like that program will be great to use when bench trimming before that first flight!

I have a program for calculating leadout position, I believe it was created by Bill(?) Lambert. It's only 38kb, and appears to come up with the correct location. It would be nice to attach it here, but the .exe file type is not supported. Anybody want it, email me. I have to warn you, there has been some slight corruption of the labels, so it is a bit tougher than it should be to interpret the info to put in the blanks. And of course, if you can't be bothered to put in all the correct information, your results will suck. Steve [email protected]
