I have built this airplane before. It took me a little more than a week to build it working on it each day after work plus the weekends. This is a 52" Nobler wing with a custom fuselage. I made the fuselage 2" longer than the plans call for. After the airplane was completely finished I used the stablizer, elevator, fin as a balance. I moved the stab/elev/fin to the correct location to get balance in the exact place that I wanted it. The fuselage was only 1/2" too long. Now that its finished I wish I had made the wing tips different I never liked that bumpy looking wing tips on the other airplane. Someone ask for a pic of my hinges in the other post so here it is, can't see much now. I hope this exhaust keeps the caster oil off the wing. The exhaust port inside the engine measures .187 by .625. I made an aluminum manifold .400 x .500 x 1.396 and drill 3 equal spaced holes .246 dia.each. I cut a piece of 1/4" by 12" hobby tubing into 3 equal pieces and pressed them into the holes. The tubes are 4" long, 1" more ground clearance than the 11" prop. The exhaust area calculates to be slightly larger than the engine exhaust so there is no exhaust restriction. There is 3" of ground clearance.
