Question for Al Rabe

Hi Al. I am thinking of building your Bearcat next but would like to build a slightly smaller version of it. I am thinking of transportation limitation due to my wife and youth in the community that I am getting into this hobby. I was wondering if I shrunk it to around 42" wing span, if that would impair any of the flight charactistics, or if you would come up here to kill me or just order a hit from the comfort of your living room! Ok, just kidding about the hit, but am interested in your input in the shrinking. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt that you could make a successful stunter by shrinking the Bearcat. Semi-scale models tend to build heavy anyway, and just to begin, how are you going th shrink the wood sizes? I built a smaller Bearcat, profile though, and didn't like the smaller airplane. Maybe I'm just used to the bigger airplanes. Anyway, I wouldn't try it. I think it would be a lead sled with disappointing performance.
