Trivia question for the geezers...

Actually, I really am interested in the answer to this. Among the SN back-issues I recently received as a gift is a book titled "Old Time Stunt Construction Drawings" compiled for PAMPA by Tom Morris. In the back of this book is an index: "Published Old Time Stunt Airplanes Listed By Magazine". One of the entries for MAN 5207 (July 1952) (Page 18) is "Great Lakes Trainer Kit Review" by author Dick Ealy.

I am aware that Sterling had a Great Lakes Trainer kit in the late 60's, but can anyone identify which kit was reviewed in that 1952 edition of MAN? Thanks!

Thanks! The reason I asked, is that last fall I helped a former modeler donate some of his old planes to the MAAC museum. Photos of two of them, a Great Lakes Trainer and a Sterling Waco, were printed in MAN in August and December of 1953 respectively. I have the original plan sheet from the Waco, but would love to get one for the Great Lakes as well at some point. His Great Lakes was powered by a FROG 29. He also had an All-American powered by (ironically) a Hurricane 19.
