TRYING TO GET DATA FROM COAST TO COAST FOR SETUPS

I am planning on traveling to several more contests next season than I did this year. I have been from PA to FL this year and setting and setups have changed but not to crazy with the exception being the Brodak meet. I am in Raleigh NC and we are just above sea level here. I am looking for a basic starting point for when I arrive to begin with. You know, what the locals have found to work. Here I am flying SV22 at 63oz. Bolly 12x4.5 and 12.25x4. 24thds head shims. Black filter. 17 5/8 pipe legnth. Hot months I use 10% nitro and then 7.5% and end up with 5%. PA 61 is the power. Any help I can get from different regions would be great. Brett knows. We had an old thread here about dew points and density altitude. Alls I know is I live in the Shenandoah Valley, and the same engines don't run the same in a vacation in Indiana in July. Never had a good engine run in Indiana, and no problems here.

My advice is if you are a Yankee, fly in Yankee places. If you like grits, tune your engine for a saltfish and dogpecker gnats environment.

No BA, we dont fly no high tech FAI. WE are "run what ya Brung" 52. If you win three in a row we give you more streamer and a bigger prop. Three more and you are the pit man for the rest of the night. We try to fly combat on thurs, night 6:00, just norht of Tampa. I may loan you a combat critter( KISS 36/TT15) if ya need one. Don'k know the exact setup for the PA .61, but you can call Randy Smith and he will know it for all SE up to and including Indiana.

My PA .51 setup is 12 - 4.25 3B Bolly, 10% nitro in high temps, 5% in lower temps, launch RPM about 10,550. Pipe is set at
16 & 7/8" Seems to work OK.

Thanks Jim for the input. Being that Tom Dixon's contest is cancelled for this weekend I am still going down to do some flying.
