First RO-Magnum 36 done and ready for t

This is a pic of the first Ro-Mag 36 we built. It should be pretty much like the Aero-Tiger(Thunder Tiger) just in the Magnum case. Main differences will be Head and button insert and needle valve through the venturi. Both the TT and the Magnum have flat top liners and cast heads. We wanted to be able to control the compression and also prefer the head insert into the liner rather than sit on top. This also makes it easy to experiment with different combustion chambers and compression. Weight is 222 grams(7.83 ounces). Test bench was tied up with other projects and will not get to run till tomorrow. Will have flying in a day or 2.
Plan is to anodize the heads gold for the first dozen as a introductory thing and have ready for sale in Tucson(VSC) in about 3 weeks. Windy will be testing in his B25 and New A26 also. I can take orders now but first dozen go to VSC with me for sale. Price is set for now at $219.00. I have both Tongue(RSM) and tube (Ro-Jett) mufflers.

I think you have another winner here.I assume it is aac.Which saves weight over the stocker.

Are you going to have extra venturi`s for this mag.ro 36? If so would you bring them to VSC.I need accouple.If So what size are they?

Does the engine have an AAC Piston and Liner like the Aero Tiger 36?
If so will you rework and existing engine and what’s the cost?

Gordy, I am using the Ro-Jett NVA and it is .187 dia. so the venturi calculated to be .305 to get the equivalent of approx. .180 true venturi. My BSE 40 seemed to like a .189 in mildest form so we went with a little smaller than the .40.
Larry, Yes it is AAC. If you send me your engine I will rework it. I can only give you an estimate on the cost. If the engine already has venturi, NVA, it will be different. If it is a stock in the box engine that would be another price but easier to estimate. Price of the engine (70.00)subtracted from the 219.00.
