Just opened my brand new Stunt News.

Nice issue, very cool Nuts and Bolts model, etc.

But! NO BAD BOY STUNT!

.. I'm starting to shake.. An issue without Rutherford is like an day without sunshine!

Don't MAKE me come over there, Danny Boy! We will have to take you swimming in the Rio Grande with cement trunks if this sort of thing keeps up.

Larry,

Good Lord, why did you have to be the first to notice? Or at least to make your voice heard.

I just wanted to see if anybody noticed. Your vote has been tallied.

I haven't received the latest SN, but just this weekend I was re-reading and laughing at your last article..and having to admit certain parts DID apply to ME! I DID measure the bed of my new pickup before buying it, and made sure it had the proper bed cover to protect my masterpieces.

larry,

Oh yes, I just wish you had referred to redundancies and the Rio Grande River, as months and months after Rush made a funny I have developed a suitable response.

As I've said before, blazing fast typist, very slow thinker.

Uhhh.. Danny Boy, we can send someone over to slap Rush around if you want it, all the way up to a horse head in his bed or such. Just say the word..

Larry,

Glad to see no one noticed I was also absent. What can I say, I just don't draw the crowd (or the flys) that Dan does.

Actually, I haven't seen the latest SN yet.

Randy-

When mine arrives, I WILL notice! I am disappointed. You will return, yes?

Ooops.. Randy, I might guess what (who) you are waiting on..

Keep the faith. Good things (and even bad ones) take time.

Larry, Putting cement shoes on him and tossing him in the Rio Grande won't do much good. I lived in El Paso For a year (My back yard bordered on the Rio Grande)and they were bleeding so much water from it for irrigation that they quit referring to the illegals as "wetbacks" as there was not enough water to reach anywhere near that high. When I was there they called them "muddy ankles".

I don't have the latest issue yet, but as for me, I'm busy working my way through the back-issues from 2000 at the moment, so I won't be at a loss for content from Da Dirt. Just this evening I thoroughly enjoyed his incisive and fascinating article on PW's first flights with his second B-17. Belly-laughed out loud reading about the solution to the motor mount problem! I do hope Mr. Rutherford doesn't remain absent for too long, though... I'll get caught up one of these days!
