Old critters at the contest yesterday got to yammering and brought up the "Mirror" Meet. Has anyone score sheets or maneuver diagrams from one? The big thing that these guys brought up was that there was no "hourglass" in any of these wierd patterns, and that vertical square eights are what should have bee there.

I believe that there were severa; different patterns flown at the Mirrpr Meets.... mayhaps a different one each year?

In speaking with the crowd yesterday, we would like to try to re-create a segment next year, IF we can get just a bit more info/ Thanks!

Peabody,

You belong to a club (GSCB)that has members who actually flew in the Mirror Meet. Why don't you ask them?

There was only one stunt pattern flown in the Mirror Meet. It took two flights to complete it.

Rich: Talk to Dave Cook. I think he actually won it one year. Also, Andy Lee is always faxing/emailing old stunt ads, posters etc. to Cook, under the psuedonym "The Ghost of Stunt". I imagine he's a pack rat of the first order and might have something.

He's still got a '60's Fender Strat he bought new in the '60's, but has steadfastly refused my repeated requests to be included in his will. Probably thinks it will contribute to an early demise for him. Harumph!

The thought here is that we could put together a nifty contest for OTS / Classic aeroplanes with some sponsorship? My wanderings reveal that there are several local merchants that would be happy to contribute.

We had kicked the idea around that a small handicap be awarded to OTS designs?

The Palisades Park site that Rich Giacobone found is terrific in that it draws big numbers of spectators and we have been sucessful of late at attracting media coverage....
