Breaking in a new

I just bought a never ran before (new) McCoy .35 Redhead from Bob Boumstein and was wanting to use it. I am quite familiar with the break-in process for ABC/N and ringed engines but I am a bit rusty on the "proper" way to break-in an older engine.

PLEASE, fill me in! YES, I'll have some 29% oil content (by volume and 2/3'rds castor) fuel to run through it!

Spittin rich the first few times, with plenty of castor. 3 minute runs. Let it cool. Repeat. Use a low load prop. Hot plug.

Gradually lean it a click or two each time after that. You will need 30 minutes minimum of this.

First few flights, err on side of caution.
