2001 Cleveland Stunt Champs

On September 23, 2001 The Northcoast Control Line Club will hold the Cleveland Area Control Line Stunt Champs. Site is Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds near Bagley Road and I-71 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Saturday 9/22 is practice and funfly. Sunday 9/23 is PAMPA classes. Motors can start at 8:00 AM both days.Thre grass circles available.Registration is Sunday at 9:00AM. Hope to see you all there.

What a fun week end I just had!
The Cleve. Stunt Championships, I think was a complete success.
Many thanks to CD Wayne Buran, Ron Lutz President of the North Coast Controliners Club,the many club members, the judges & every one else who helped.
Lots of great flying.

What a great weekend!!!! It was nice to be able to return to the Cleveland area for a stunt contest. I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank Wayne Buran,Todd Lee, Jerry Phelps and a host of others that put this event on. I would also like to thank the crew that has worked so hard over the past several years to obtain this flying site and get it prepared for us to come out and fly on. Great job guys, and I will be putting you on my calendar for next year.

I would like to be able to see the photos, it seem I can't get into the place the photos are.

I can't get into them either.

You have to be a registered user to access the photo area. Create a login and password. There are no major forms to fill out like some of the others.

I beg to differ!! I jumped through all their stupid hoops twice and I STILL can't find any pictures!

If you can not get in to see the photos you may have to join the yahoo CL club. About the same as joining Stuka Stunt forum.

Hi Wayne,

Really enjoyed the contest and was especially glad to find that we were in the back yard of that much needed hospital! Thumb is doing well but still have to see a specialist tomorrow afternoon. My Dr. says he doubts I'll need any grafting by wants me to be sure.

Classic next year????

Randy, glad to hear you might not need reconstructive surgery. Missed you and other Detroit folks at Columbus. Todd Lee one expert. Paul Lutz one advanced. My performance was dismal at best but every time I flipped that Bolly I thought of you. We start planning for 2002 tomorrow. Thanks again to everyone for participating.
