Help discribing C/L carb for Enya

I posted in the classified wanting a c/l carb for an Enya 35 5224 sqare type. I have been asked to discribe what it looks like. I received the motor form my father, it came with an R/C carb. so I measured the receiver and got 13/32 X 15/32. Other than that I don't know much about the square carbs, All of my 5224's have the round intake. Any Help???

VR Joe, I believe I was the one who asked for measurements for the carb. I believe that the dimensions you give here are tha same as on mine. With Dial calipers, the base 0of the carb measures 0.430 wide (13/32 == .4062) the carb measures 0.465 from front to back. (15/32 == .468) The hole through the carb measures 0. 234 inch. So Based on those figures, I believe it will fit. The width dimension is close so check your measurements

Joe,

I think that you are looking for the Black Plastic venturi inserts that came with the C/L versions of the square intake versions of the Enya .35, #5224. You will also need the NVA for the engine as well, since the needle valve body from the RC Carburetor will not fit properly in the new insert.

I believe that I may have traded them, but I'll see if I can find the ones I used to have around here.

Sometime back Iskander posted that he simply carved carb inserts out of balsa and soaked them with CyA. Beats carving them out of motormount stock, I would think.
