CL as sport

Still recovering from the burns from RCOnline on this subject(just joking of course). I thought today's (Aug 5) comic strip "Non Sequitur" had a good definition of "Fishing" as a sport. I saw that. I'm an ichthyologist by profession so I had ambivalent feelings about it. Along a similar (?) line; you all know about piranhas. They do indeed have razor-sharp teeth and very strong jaws. I know several people that have been bitten and there are stories of people being killed. I've seen them in a feeding frenzy (around two colleagues who were imitating treetrunks, successfully.) and it's pretty impressive. So they are called man-eating piranhas. On the other hand, they are the easiest fish to catch with hook and line, and probably more piranhas are caught and eaten than any other south American fish, so man eating-piranhas is a more correct statement.
