Putting on ink lines and other stuff.

Hi fella's. I was out in our local drug store the other day looking for a new ink pen to lay down some lines on my model when I spotted this funny looking ruler. It is truely amazing and only cost me two bucks. It is made by Buffalo, is called a Superflex and is part #2136. Why is it so amazing you ask? Well let me tell you. It is made out of some form of gell! It will bend in the most extra-ordinary way then simply unfold itself back to its original form! It is the perfect ruler for laying those lines down on your compound curved wing and fuselages. I highly recommend that you get out there and spend your two bucks as fast as you can. I got mine in a pretty orange....hopefully it won't get lost on the table!

I think what you purchased is commonl referred to in the drafting professions as a "spline". It has a constant shape and size that can be turned and flexed into all sorts of shapes and curves that cannot be accomplished with a french curve.

They are, indeed, very handy.

Nope...it's not a spline....had one, used it for years when I was a draftsman. This is a ruler that they sell to kids for school. Metric on one side and imperial on the other. Looks like a typical plastic ruler till you bend it. Find one....you'll thank me.
