Saito 40 manifold/venturi sets

To anyone out there who is interested: The new Ultra Hobby Products manifold/venturi sets for the Saito 40 will be ready next week. I know it has been a long time coming, and I apologize about the delays, but it has been a much more complicated process this time. The 40 has the intake tube built into the carb, so this required us to make an intake tube as well as the manifold and venturis. We have tried several different methods and have settled on having cast intake tubes made. Our machinist, Dirk Tollenaar has done a super job and everything looks great.

I have run the setup on my Imitation and really liked it. As usual, the manifold/venturi is based on the wonderful design of Pat Johnston. The set comes with the Manifold, 3 Venturis, Intake tube, and Needle Valve Assembly. Due to the additional cost of the casting this set will be a little more expensive, $75.00.

Yes, they do make a venturi/manifold for the 56 and also the 72. I have one for the 56 and it is a top quality product.

Does this set fit an OS Surpass 40?

An update: I have the Saito 40 manifold kits in hand, and will be sending them out today to the people who have e-mailed me.

We have decided to put only one venturi in the set. The reasons being: the motor ran excellent with the one included in the kit, and the cost was getting pretty high. Having to make the intake tube adds quite a bit of time and expense. Final selling price: $75.00.

For Scott D.: I don't know what you're talking about. I don't recall talking to you about aluminum tubing. We did try aluminum tubing, but it was too brittle and kept breaking when trying to bend it. We went with an aluminum casting, that is then turned, polished and drilled.

Yes, we make others: for the Saito 56, Saito 72, and OS Surpass 52.

No, this one does not fit the OS 40 Surpass, it fits the Saito 40.
