It sure looks like the real Killer Bee. You got the 051 version too. It will be slightly heavier on fuel consumption.

You are going to have fun with that in your HV.

With so many varibles, it's good to have the input of the experts at hand.
I'm really glad I had some problems with my HV. It has lead me to study the Cox engine, ask questions and LEARN from for the best there is. Where else can I ask the man who developed Cox engines why they work or what works, or ask another who builds Cox race engines his secrets?
As an old engine builder, this has given me a channel to put my engery into that is somewant cheap...... comparired to a N2O Ford 302!!

I'm working on a way to get a blown, N2O burning 302 into a Ringmaster. Can't seem to get the CG right!

Lost it on *-Bay at $86.00. Maybe next time!
I've gotten so many engines in the works now I'll not need it. But sure would be nice to have.
Called Davis Diesel today to order cranks and he had me on the phone for 15 minutes talking RPM's and Power! Ended up with Teflon reeds, piston socket re-set tool and timing shims.
The more I know, the deeper it gets..... maybe Fords are cheaper to build!

OKAY Rob, Here's another tip: measure the squish band depth on ALL...
ALL your high compression .049 Cox glowheads. They can vary up to
15 thou... this completely affects your headspace. Don't just add or
subtract glowhead washers unless you are aware of the total deck
clearance tht results. Also since you live near Dale Kirn look him
up to find out how to setup a Cox engine for best performance. I did
and learned a lot from him. Please email me off the forum and I will
give you my phone# so I can explain more thoroughly...and more easily
about Cox reed valve and T.D. setup.
