Stunt pattern illustration question

Disclaimer: OK, I am still a newbie in many ways, so forgive my infinite ignorance.

Regarding overhead 8s, is the first loop inside or outside? Looking at the illustrations, it seems that the first would be inside, but looking at the graphic of the plane, the wheels are pointing the wrong way!

If I start from a wingover, my wheels would be to my left. If looking down from above the wheels would be to your right, correct?

The diagram shows the wheels pointing left, but says "looking from above".

What am I missing? Have I inhaled too many dope fumes?

Anyway, the real question is this: Is the first loop of overhead 8s supposed to be inside or outside?

I believe you would be looking up at the plane from below.

Perhaps they already changed the graphic --- it says looking up toward the top of the circle.

The inside loop is first. entry is as a wingover. If you fly counter clockwise, the wheels are to the left looking up--like the graphic.
