For those that remember the John Andretti "Cheerios" paint job on my Impact, it has been updated to the 04 Daytona 500 paint scheme. It was fun, but I don;t think I'll refinish another one anytime soon. Trying to fininsh and build a new plane is just a bit too much to bite off at once. Mike McHenry

I'm putting the finish on it now. I have a week of vacation scheduled for mid April so hopefully the weather will cooperate.
I was in the middle of my post and the wind knocked out the electricity but were up and running again. I'm going to use the Big Jim ST 60 I got from Roger so I'm pretty excited about the project.

Hey you need orange strips on the side of the fuse where John ran Tony Stewart in the wall during the practice.
Looks like you going to have to strip the paint off again. The good thing is you can leave it in primer because John is currently without a sponsor.

I qualified the paint job by putting 2004 Daytona 500 on the nose. This will be the LAST finish on this plane. Mike McHenry
