Nylon Props part Duh!

I started to put this in with the other thread on Nylon Props but did not want to start getting different answers from what was being ask.
When I read the other post it reminded me of a little problem I have.

I have a new Tornado 9x4 Nylon Prop and the hub is very thick. So thick that it will not fit on my .19. The Brodak wooden 9x4 is much thinner. Can anything be done so I can use the prop if I ever I need to?

Check the racks of spinners and spinner accessories. Both spinner makers and some motor companies (such as OS Max for one) produce some special nuts and washers designed for use with spinners, but also just fine for short shafts and thick hubs.

The prop must have a recess for the nut, which reaches inside the hub area to hold onto more of the shaft, or you have to ream one out to fit it. True-Spin or whatever that $20 each aluminum spinner brand is, has several of this type of nut.

Kiwi, I want to buy Tru Turn spinners where you get them. For $20.00 such a deal. Seriously they are expensive but they are made from billet not spun or cast and meticulously balanced, Cut outs can be ordered for any prop that you care to run.
They are a quality item and as such it cost a little more.

I also don't buy $30-plus props (or however high it is now for the Ozzie imports). If a double decade or so, plus or minus five years, has passed by since I last slowed down as I was going past that rack of way-too-high-dollar pieces referenced, inflation could'a done anything to the pricing. My planes don't require spinners; those get in the way during pit stops.

Don't know why, but some Grish props have really thick hubs. One example I can think of is their 5x3. For some reason, all the props they produced in this size in the past 10-15 years have had hubs that were a lot thicker than the very same props produced earlier. No idea why - maybe they had to hog out the hub area on the molds to true them up.
