Since there has been a fair amount of interst in Dale Kirn's Belfry Bound I thought I would let you all know what I have found out about it...All of this is second hand information, but from very reliable sources (wink, wink)

As you probably already know Carl Shoup presented Dale his #2 Belfry Bound finished to replicate (one of) Dale's original ships at the banquet dinner at VSC which was a complete surprise to Dale and left him speechless! I really am sorry that I had to miss this event, I was told it was one to remember...

I have had a chance to see Carl's (now Dale's) Belfry Bound and it's craftmanship is astounding, I was afraid to even touch it (bull in china shop syndrome) but I did try the controls and I had no idea a person could get controls that smooth (I gotta meet this Carl fellow!)

I was informed that Dale, Carl, and Eric Rule had a final meeting to make some very slight changes to the plans that Eric will use to kit this and we should expect that it will be no later than the end of April for RSM Distribution to go into full production on this.

FYI... Disclaimer: I am in NO WAY an employee of,or will in any way, profit from anything sold or offered by RSM Distribution. What I am is a member of the Knights Of the Round Circle (since Jan. '04) and have come to really enjoy (and respect) Dale Kirn and so many of the Knight's that I pass along this information to those who are interested. I see these gentlemen at least once a month and have obtained permission from Eric to post this info. This is not a post about RSM but about Dale Kirn's Belfry Bound... Mr. Rule was kind enough to give me the "inside scoop" But I am far from being the only one to know about it. (Except Carl's gift to Dale, that must have been the best kept secret of this years VSC!)

Also check out the "Upcoming Events" for the "Sir Dale Kirn's Knight's Joust" This May 15 & 16 at Whittier Narrows, Calif.
