I've seen some good recomendations for the Ukey 40 and Prowler. Is the source for these ARFs "[email protected]"? Can somebody post some pictures? What is the level of the "almost ready" in the ARF-ness?

I can't offer an eMail address for the new producer of Ukies, but you should be able to find it with searches here that include the reviews forum. The Prowler has been unavailable as a new product for several years now, and never was an ARF.
It was a kit with a foamie wing core, but you had to apply the sheeting to the wing when building that one. There may have been a plan drwan up to build Prowlers with ribs instead of the foam, or at least I have seen one such plane built, so Frank had to get his rib patterns SOMEWHERE. It's a very good stunter, in spite of being a profile.

I built a RD-1 and Prowler with ribs. Very easy, as you know, to use the foam wing templates to stack sand ribs, just adding cut outs for 1/4 X 1/4 Spars. Much lighter!

Here is a site where you can see a number of UKEY's, some stock out of the box, some modified somewhat. BUT, BE FORWARNED.......UKEY'S ARE "BUTT UGLY", at least in the stock configuration. That way there is no emotional connection to the plane and you are free to try just abut any maneuver, no matter how impossible it may seem to you. ANYHOW, ENJOY...........TD
