Fox 15 Schnerle crankshaft

Did Fox have two different types of crankshafts? One with lugged drive washer and another with a taper drive washer? The part they sent me was tapered? I have both BB and bushing .15's that have the lugged type washer.

The design changed to the tapered seat for the thrust washer a few years back. The tapered seat gives a more consistent run and a few more RPM.

There was actually a third crankshaft. Fox sold some 15's for race car motors. Those crankshafts used a collet like a ST G15. According to John Lowry the crank was good for another 1500RPM. The Car motors were not a success because they leaked too much oil through the front bearing, according to John.
