The new Sukhoi is a slight modification of the Beringer design. Wing area is 680 square inches. Weight came out at 62 oz with a Saito 72. Have had some intial problems with the Godzilla set-up on the clunk tank so I made another Beringer type uniflow tank for it yesterday and will test it some morning this week. The plane flies very well with unbelievable line tension everywhere. I thought the Saito 56 version pulled hard.

One thing that impressed me immediately with Al's plane is the sound. You hold onto that baby with a lot of respect. I can liken it to a very expensive Harley, and no form of manoever even makes an impression on that powerhouse ,it just roars away, probably capable of a plane twice the weight,I hope the judges watch the flying with their ears open.
