Just wanted to show the finished version of the plane that I posted pics of a month or so ago. Power is a PA61. Weight is a little heavy at 65 oz, probably due to all the landing gear in it. Ready for flying season now!! Mike McHenry

Very nice. It wreaks of F-8 Crusader (Sader),..but the notch out of the horizontal tail says A-7 Corsair II, (SLUF). Nice, very nice.

edit: Of course it says "A-7A" right there on the tail,..doh!

Been wanting to do a Crusader for pipe myself. Did you use plans (whose?), is it a redraw of another plane, or your own design? Anhedral?

Just an Old Advanced flyer.
Bill, the plans are of my drawing. The wing and stab are basically a Starrship with a few modifications. The fuse is all my design. I originally designed with a ST60 in mind. When I decided to use a PA I had to reconfigure the bottom of the plane, as well as the landing gear. Hoping to fly it in the next week or so. Take care,Mike McHenry
Nice looking plane Mike. I have always liked the trike gear, jet look stunters anyway but the double wheels on the nose gear really look neat.
