I painted a 32 Ford for a friend of my fathers a few years back.He was a Sheetmetal worker for United Airlines and was always helping out when my dad was building his full size Comanche. Since he was always helping out, there was no way I was going to take any money for painting his car. Two years later he shows up at the hanger with an Ambroid Stuka kit he had picked up at a Flea Market in Las Vegas. His way of returning a favor. Says he paid 15.00 for it. most parts were punched out but everything was there. The wood was unbelievable, better than any kit I have ever seen. According to my scale (?), it weighs in at 34 oz. That Pinhead has an SV-11 that has been ready for paint for Two years now. He calls me once a week and asks if he can bring down and drop it off for painting. Next time he calls I'll give him your number. Larry

Larry, hint hint! Your eyelids are getting heavy. You are forming a mental picture of your Stuka pulverizing the competition in Classic at Albany . . .

Steve, speaking of eyes, I showed up for the unveiling of Der Stuka Saturday and caught the glare thru medium-dark sunglasses. Bringin' the serious shades next week!

The best part about flying with guys who build like this is getting to fly with guys who build like this. The worst part is having to fly with guys who build like this.

Larry, if I pulverize you with compliments, how 'bout some of that BLACK on my '27 T Tub? Easy job, no fenders to deal with, and my '32 rails are real slick.
