I just want to say to everyone.

Sometimes, I love this sport (hobbie), whatever.

I really love it right now. Today. Everything is working OK. I have GOOD FRIENDLY PEOPLE to fly with. They seem to enjoy my company too….

The smell of castor oil…. Like when I was a kid with my Dad.

No scowls or frowns, no analytical, biting comments. Just clean air and wire.

I like these forums a lot too. It is my connection to the whole world.

Thanks to all of you. I hope you believe that anything you read here (or anywhere else) is meant in good fun and the spirit of armchair engineering.

Fast reflexes beats most of this stuff on any given day…

Brad....Same here. I LOVE THIS HOBBY.... I hope that some day I could meet ALL of you. With up and comming SURGERY I'm Home bound for right now....so I'm Building Planes. Yes planes I'm on my Fourth stunter this year. and I've built TWO Sport planes. So I got the time do I make to best of it. I also have put up over FOUR HUNDRED Flights this year with My PA plane. Counting all of the airshow and AMA Demo Team flights I'm pushing 600 flights. NOT counting all of the 1/2 A flights, Combat. Lots of fuel.
No burn out here. Sometimes I feal like "Forrest Gump" Running and Running. Some day I'll "Want to go home".......

It was a pleasure meeting and talking with you at last months Dallas contest. You and Doug have those OS .46 LA's growling around the sky magnificently! Unfortunately, due to some fuel issues I couldn't quite get my ST .51 running like I needed it to ,most of the time. My only flight with a decent engine run was the first one on Sunday. I really didn't like having to fly my Sunday fligts back to back, but I guess someone had to do it. It It just turned out it was me. Next time I make it out there to visit y'all and my cousin, hopefully I will be able to bring my OD Excelsior PA plane to fly in PAMPA class.

What I like is the range of models that you can fly. Last week, it was 50s technology only, with Hollow Log Scientifics and one lunger Coxes at the Musciano Meet. Had a ball.

This week it's Smoothies, Flite Streaks, Magicians, etc. Will have a ball.

And, for others, it's a piped PA .65 on something exotic, carboned fibered, and pretty large. I'm not there yet, but that will be fun too.

Hey "city smasher" I love this stuff too. Almost everytime I fly during the last few level laps before the motor runs out I think to myself or I say it out loud "I love flying" I just love it I am so hooked. I love hanging out at the field talking planes or cars or whatever. I love thinking I actually kind of know what I am doing. However with our recent fuel situation I feel like I am in very uncharted waters, for me anyways. I have fun and that is what it is all about.
