Really don't know how to reply myself. I am at a terminal for the majority of the day adn therefore check very often, very very often.

Afraid I never really leave, though I do go from home to the office to home so it's at least 3 times a day minimum.

Course I never log out, I just change locations.

The forum keeps track of who is on line, so if you leave to go to another site (whether you log off or not) and then return, that counts as a second trip. Interesting resopnses so far. I will give the answer after Sunday.

I check in 1 time a day...I usually never turn it off! I watch all day truth be told. I'm an addict, I need help! Leonard you are an enabler. Tough love might be the way to go for me or some kind of intervention. Maybe I should just go flying and turn the computer off?

I'm sure that I am getting close to the top on that front. I must check 10+ times a day

OK, I take classes here frequently. I take notes. I pop into classes that interest me, which are many. I'm developing a vocabulary around Stunt that puzzles my neighbors, who think that the UPS truck delivering the all to frequent, large cardboard boxes marked RUSH & FRAGILE, has something to do with my illness. Not to mention the Homework: the smell of castor oil incense, flashing lights, strange looking white shop coats, engine experiments and modifications--late night test runs in the shop.

I can't post or reply from wurk but I can lurk from wurk (sorry'I cant help it) so I probably check in a dozen times a day.Then I'll hook up two or three times at home.

You run engines late at night??

I run mine at daytime, and never had complaints.

But I also work pretty late, using the Dremel, bangin' on 1/8" wire with a big hammer etc.

Well, when I moved here, some 30 years ago I used to practice 8 hours a day.

I guess the neighbours are happy. A couple tanks of fuel on an engine every now and then sure beats a tenor sax blowin' for endless hours...

SSW is my home page so no matter where I go this is always the first stop. (Does that pass muster as a reasonable excuse? ) I tried to stop checking in so often from work(wasn't even logged in on that computer) but since VSC 16 I slipped off the wagon!

OK, 37% of you got it right. The answer was the last one, 398, or about 13 times a day on average, every day, for 30 days straight.
Interestingly, this same individual has now upped this number, and in the past 30 days, ending with today (April 11th) has now accessed the forum 430 times (or 14 times a day on average).

And, sorry, it is nobody who responded saying, "I hope it is me" or "I hope it is not me." But, considering that some of you access the forum from another computer without logging in, or continuously, without ever leaving, I am not so sure that our above user truly is the "winner" of the poll.

Ah, well, just an interesting statistic as we look at ourselves and our viewing habits. And, thanks for using the forum and to those of you who participated in the poll.

Actually, I don't log out, either. You don't have to. In fact, you shouldn't, unless you are on someone else's computer who might also access the forum (or like at the public library or such). The forum merely shows when you are on line (You can click on the upper right link in the lobby to see who is online at any particular moment, or who has been in the last hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, whatever). If you check into the forum, leave, and then return it counts as a second trip. So the number would be of somebody who actually left and then returned.

I know that a number of you check in at work or from some other location from time to time, but this was just an interesting statistic.
