Good lord look at the size of that wing!

That is my ultimate plane. Dad test-flew them late in WWII at the Douglas plant and I've always loved them. Is Windy going to have plans for this?

That plane looks to be a take apart, and currently has no flaps if my eye's are not playing tricks. The appearance of high A/R will probably go away once the flaps are installed.

FYI Some stats on the wing below:

His B-25 is the identical wing, and I've measured the basic foam core's. They are 34" foam core's PLUS tips. They are 11 1/2" at the root cord, and 7 1/4" at the tip. It appears normal enough A/R once the flaps are installed. Without flaps, by my math it is 8 to 1.

That's an average cord of 9.375 x 68 span = 637.5 square inches of wing, without tips or flaps. Just guessing on flap and tip sizes, but flaps ought to add about 150 squares, and tips add another 40 squares for a total of 637.5+150+40 = 827.5 squares.

Now that's a bigg'un! Not unreasonably so, but it is in PatternMaster territory. Must be fun to transport.
