FP .20 crankshafts

My son has been very abusive to his Skyray and I notice a wobble in the crankshaft of his FP. Can I use the crank out of a well worn (aka junk) .25 FP? Larry

They should be the same part. These "common" engines typically differ only by cylinder bore. The case, backplate, crank and rod should be identical but the piston/cylinder will be larger on the .25 engine.

Same thing with the Cox .049/.051, the Fox .29/.35 and most others. I believe the FP .35 and FP .40 also shared the same crank.

I'm sure one of the engine pros will jump in if I'm mistaken.

Larry,

I would think so since the 20FP and 25FP use the same crankshaft.

Larry,

I double-checked a listing of O.S. parts last night, the 20/25 crankshafts are indeed one and the same.
