New tube and tongue mufflers

Hi All

These are the new AERO CNC tongue and AERO ultra lite Tube mufflers, they are made for the PA 40-65, ST 35,40,46,5156, 60.
The FP LA 35 40 46, OS SF 40-46Magnum 53, AERO Tiger Thunder Tiger, Magnum 28 - 36, and of course th3 FOX 35, The pictures of these got deleted due to a system crash a little while back, these are availble from Leonard at Stuka Stunt or from me at Aero Products.
The tube muffler weigh just over 1 ounce, with a short FOX 35 and Magnum 28 TT 28 version at right at 1 ounce. They have no end caps welds or bolts holding them together.

WOW......I'll order after the NATS and Worlds.

What are the prices.

How about one that fits McCoy RH/Veco/Merco/K&B Stallion - all the same stack dims.

These are bolt on mufflers, and sizes are available to fit most every modern bolt on engine for both the tongue and tube mufflers(including tongue mufflers for the Brodak 40--see the little guy in the picture?) We price these fairly and our prices are the same (we aren't competing against each other.) I will be ready to post these on the web site shortly and I am sure Randy will do the same on his (if he hasn't done so already).

(Edit) Oh, and if you look at that tube muffler at the far right. That is the body of the muffler and this is how they are machined in one piece. No welds here. No bolts to hold them together and come apart. Did you ever have a Fox muffler come apart in the air? I did. (Ruined the engine when it went dead lean). Did you ever have an OS muffler fall apart in the air (I did. Lucky guy, aren't I?)

These new mufflers look simply terrific. Can they be fit with a pressure tap? Thanks.

The tongue mufflers are drilled and threaded for a tap and these will be included. The tube mufflers can be drilled and threaded for one. The body portion is quite thin, however, although it should work. But, we did some experimenting with these earlier when I had some made with a different supplier. The tube mufflers at this time were drilled and tapped in the stack area, similar to the tongue mufflers (These present mufflers use the same dimensions and mount on the stack as the tongue muffler).

I had heard people say in the past that wouldn't work to put the pressure tap in the stack area. "The exhaust gas is moving too fast in this area and you won't get pressure". Know something? I tried it both ways and it worked. I could tell absolutely no difference between using the tap in the stack or in the tube itself. I tried several different locations on the tube. Again, no difference. By leaving these untapped you can place the tap wherever you wish and where it becomes most convenient. And if you don't use muffler pressure, leave it untapped.
