C/L hobbie shops in LA?

I'll be in Los Angeles on business this week. Where are the good C/L hobby shops? I'd like to drop in and look around if I get a chance while I'm out there.

Tony and Addy's hobby shop in Burbank is one of the best in the nation. ( For controliners)

And don't forget Ed's Hobby Shop in Covina. Take the I-10 east to Citrus Ave , go north about 2 miles to the old cobblestone section of main street, on the right.
Also, south of the border, the Orange County border that is, there is a swap meet at the old MCAS El Toro this weekend May 1, put on by the Orange Coast R/C club. Usually lots of goodies.
And stop by Whittier Narrows flying field on Sunday morning. On the I-60 at Rosemead Blvd. Show AMA card at the gate for free admission.

T&A Hobby Lobby is a very good choice but if you happen to be out on the east side there is Ed's Covina Hobby shop in the city of Covina just of the 10fwy at Citrus ave. and not to far from Wittier Narrow's C/L circles.

Back in the Dark Ages (late 60s, early 70s), there used to be a hobby shop that was less than a mile from Whittier Narrows field. You had to pass on the way into the field.

It changed owner(s) several times in the last 20 years, but it is/was on the West side of Rosemead Blvd. about 1/2 mile North of the entrance to Whittier Narrows.

The hobby shop on Rosemead has been gone several years now. Ed's, Covina is about 1/2 hr and T&A about and hour away. In light traffic.

Don't remember the name but it was on Rosemead Blvd. right near the 10 Fwy.

Tony and Addies Hobby Lobby has been there in "beautifull downtown Burbank" since the early 50's.

They are two doors west of the corner of Victory Blvd and Hollywood Way...that is about 3 blocks South of the Burbank Airport...

They have many, many, great models hanging from the ceiling...they support stunt, carrier, sport, free/flight, vintage everything.

Addie is almost always there, building away on the other side of the shop...small shop, so there a lots of balsa/dope/fuel aromas, that alone makes it worth the trip.

They are closed on Sunday and Monday.

While you are out there, the Sepulveda Basin flying field,
control-line circles and r/c...is about 4 miles to the west of Tony's shop.
