About what vintage is the Fox Steelfin .15? The little Flying Clown I am building shows a steelfin on the plans, and although I am planning to use an Enya .09, I might use a Fox steelfin. This will be no problem, because unless I am mistaken, after comparing the two, the Enya and Fox are identical in vital dimensions, and should interchange perfectly.
About 1957-58. George Aldrich was quite fond of these, they were also known as the "Rocket .15". He once told me that this is "A baby .35 Stunt" in running character. It will do a nice 4-2-4 break.

I got this one off Ebay for $6.60, and it is a neat,good looking engine. After cleaning it up, I have test run it, but have never flown it.
A fine little engine. But, be careful of the two bolts holding the backplate, they will strip out or break real easy. The phillip head screws can give problems too. The engine wasn't as powerful as the 15X but starts about the same. Jim J
Also don't over prop it. It likes an 8x4.
Even though the Steel Fin version will 4-2-4, I run mine in a wet two. On a Streak Jr.
