Guy's I remember reading about someone cutting motormounts.. I am in need of some 1/2 x 3/8 x 18 motor mounts and I don't remember who was advertising these mounts.. The "Bootlegger" got caught in a "wind shear" on outside rounds, and I sm going to have to re-build the fuse and I need some motor mount stock, and I know that this is the place to gte info.. As always thanks to Leonard and all the Stuka Stunt works folks.....

Pretty sure that was Bill Sawyer. I have , but not sure it's current. He had an ad for his new kit in the last issue of Stunt News. Steve

Gil,
I still have them available. I just stopped advertising them - How many do you need? I normally cut them 12 inches long. I would have to cut that long special but not a problem. I can also cut other that 3/8 X 1/2. I have done 3/8 X 3/8, 3/4 X 1 and others. The email Steve gave is correct: [email protected].

I sell in any quantity - no minimum orders. The price for a 3/8" X 1/2" X 12 is $ 0.50. I will cut one set or more to the size and length you need.

I bought some of Bill's motor mounts in the past and they are beautiful. You will really like them.

Try Lonestar Models. They have 18" long mounts in this size for less than a dollar each. Only problem is they have a $25 minimum on wood orders.

Tom Morris sells motor mounts also, no minimum.

Man, I am sure sorry about your plane. I had just looked away when I heard the thud. Glad to hear you can rebuild it. I guess you can be grateful that you hit the ground, and not......well, you know....

Thanks for the message.. I have ordered some wood and started stripping the plane down.. Looks like I can salvage the wing and stab and elev.
