Crock Pot Warning!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT!! put painted case Super Tigers in antifreeze and cook them!! I did and not only did the paint go nasty it released something into the antifreeze that had a chemical reaction with all the bright aluminum turning it dull and splotchy. (No Bob, its not yours) Not all the cases were painted and they did a masterfull job of the ones that were, its easiest to tell if you look close around the edge of the drive washer, you can see that the machined surface is painted. Mechanically there is no damage, but this poor Tiger looks like it has mange. Fortunately it is destined for major alteration and glass beading.
