PA 40 Lite

While at the Jacksonville meet weekend before last, I had the chance
to fly one of the new 40 lites. very impressive,easy needle,lots
of power,one flip starts,runs just like my PA 40.
Over all I would say Randy has come up with another winner.
I am glad that I ordered two of these things last fall.

While talking with Randy yesterday, he said he had it in an Apex. 57" w/670 sq. and 58 oz. Was that the plane you flew?
It was also on a muffler, not pipe, correct?

Ok, are going to Marietta or will it be Huntersville????????

Yes, That was the Red plane, It had more thean enough power
to pull the airplane smartly.
We will both be at Marietta and Huntersville.
As to the other discussion ,we shall see what we shall see.

I was speaking with Gene Martine last evening, and he said he could not believe how well the PA 40 Lite pulled Randy's Apex around. Gene was very impressed.

You are correct it was on a muffler 650 sq. in., I think Buzz wanted a little more turn out of the plane though ..

I believe I hear a snicker or two behind Randy's reply.The overhead eights were quite interesting to watch!Not only was the engine impressive,Randy was using a stock BY&O prop,11x4 or 12x4,imagine on the proper sized Bolly!
