Johnson Muffler

I recall some talk on here about mufflers for Johnson engines but when I tried a search nothing came up.
I want to install a 35 Johnson on my old recovered ( in many ways) Flight Streak as that is the only engine I have ever had on a Flight Streak and I am wont to mess with tradition. Recent events at the local schoolyard mean that I have to have a muffler on it.
I've tried a couple of strap-on styles but the exhaust won't match any of the 40 odd mufflers in my bin.
If you have any suggestions other than switching to an OS .25SFR, it would be appreciated.

We used to use the first strap-type large Enya silencer on these. Rather heavy, but the second type was a better silencer, lighter, and has the same hole pattern?
When we first used these we thought the silencer was not really doing anything,--until one fell off!

Old Tatone Peace Pipes work well on the small case Johnsons with the angled exhausts.

Don't know what you are talking about here because the only one I am aware of that was angled was a special one for the FP that was made for a cut exhaust. Then the stack angled out in the same direction as the liner. His normal mufflers are either tongue mufflers, or straight tube mufflers.

Oh, and the price is going to be a bit higher than what Gary quoted here. I don't recall them ever being ten dollars--even the tongue mufflers. If you can get strap on mufflers for $15 that fit over the exhaust like Art's do, sign me up for a couple of dozen (in various sizes, of course).
