Das Dirt and Jim have been gettin' on my case for asking so many questions.

I'll answer with this saying I saw on the rear of a truck:

"With the stone they throw at me I 'm building my home (or my Cheesler).

Now, this is the beef, I've installed the comands with a flap/elevator ratio of 2/3..

The stab is per plans, the elevators will have a litte more area.

The tale moment is 1/2" longer.

I just aint so sure about the relative sizes of the flaps.

Shoule I make the outboard flap a lille bigger and compensate any extra lift on the wheight box?

Do not let guys like Dirt get to you, ask all the questions you want to LOL. One of the good things about this forum is the different opinion's you get from modelers. But like always, some are right on and other are way off base so you pick the response you like or agree with.

Make the flaps equal size with the tip of the outboard flap 3/32" wider than the inboard. . In your post you stated a ratio of 2 to 3, were you trying to say 2 to 1? The flap to elevator ratio of 2 to 1 is a good place to start and should give a very fast turn. It would have been better if you installed an adjustable elevator horn but if that is what you have then use it.

Three comments: 1) I wanted to see how sensitive you might be to a very mild rebuke; 2) some of your questions honestly seem designed not to get information but instead to merely be entertained; 3) Mikey gets it.
