About tissue.

For about 8 years I have been cutting numbers and letters out of some Spectra Art Tissue 5914-6 Black, of which I purchased 42 square feet in a package for $1.60 at some craft store. The color does not run under any treatment I have been able to devise, and so far as I can tell, there is absolutely no fade to the color.

I also have some black and white 1/2 in checkerboard Ensemble Sports gift tissue, which came in a package of 18 square feet for an unremembered price. Gene Hempel covered part of the wings of his OTS #7 Easy with this tissue and it seemed quite strong. I was able to get the black to run a little by vigorously rubbing it between my fingers while wet with thinner. It did not run at all in Gene's application.

Hi Jim, I have some Esaki lightweight yellow and black checkerboard
Jap Tissue that Toshi gave me years ago. It might be available from
some obscure sources somewhere. It too has never run. I still have
quite a bit left; since I only used it for P30 and smaller rubber
models and the tip trim on a Lil Duper Zilch.

Jim, a quick Google search showed that the Spectra tissue can still be found, be the price is getting way out of hand. I think it was up to $3.59 per 10 sheets......
