Rules Change Cycle will be 2 years....

Just saw this on the AMA website that beginning in 2005 the rules change cycle will be 2 years instead of 3.

I assume this means we will be able to alter the rule book a year earlier in order to finally make ARFs and ARCs legal for competition in the skill-class events, thus putting an end to silly surveys from silly people.

What a relief...

Hey Dan - the purpose served with this comment is what, again? The issue is a MISUNDERSTANDING from lack of CONTEXT. I really don't see the point in turning it into a cheap-shot contest.

Allen's motivations are well-intended. Yours are not.

Of course not. I thought everybody already knew I have low standards.

I thought it a funny comment, nothing more. There was no underlying purpose to it.

If there is a misunderstanding due to lack of context, I am interested in hearing more about both. I have been going by your posting of the survey from Stunt News. If there is more to the story, especially if this added information does indeed turn my light-hearted comment into nothing more than a cheap shot, I am of course more than mildly interested.

I have no doubt Allen's intentions are pure, that he is trying to do what he sees as best for PAMPA, Stunt News, and CL Stunt.

It might be best if Allen makes a post or two in the appropriate thread, these designed to answer some fairly obvious questions. From your reaction it would appear I have something more to learn in why the survey was put together and why it was published in SN.

But until then, and at this moment in time, the survey does in fact appear to be silly. And ill-advised, even if we do end up making lemonade out of lemons.

With only a two-year gap, Leonard will have to let us post on *** continuously, without intermission for breathing and thinking.
