Thanks to Tom Dixon and the rest of the Rebels for putting on a fine contest. The weather and competitors were excellent. Wish there had been a little larger turn out, but the guys in charge did a great job!

Well, there was that one issue with the early pilots meeting and the score sheets having a flight order of 1A, 1B, 1,2 etc!

It was a great time though, and almost ideal weather. Marietta is a great site to put in loads of practice and test flights if that is your thing at the contest. I was able to get more work done on my plane in three days than the last three months, given the lousy weather up north. Marietta is a great way to get tuned up for the contest season in the SE region, because if your plane isn't working by the end of the contest, it probably never will.
