Hi!

Is anyone aware of a C/L flying site located in the Sonoma County area?

The site in Napa is at leaste a couple of hours away and the only controline planes that I've seen around here are the ones in my garage!

Perhaps I'm just not looking hard enough. There must be SOMETHING going on!

Bigs,
I have flown on this field. It is a nice place to fly. Dave Fitzgerald and Jim Tichy flies there all the time.Might give one of them a call.

We have a few members come down to our field from Marin. I know if probably far for you, but there is always some action from 9:00am to 12 noon, Saturdays and Sunday.

Dave did list directions to the Napa field on this board but for some reason a SEARCH result for "Napa Field" resulted in Nothing.
You can probable contact Dave or Jim Ticky regarding use of the Napa facility.

I'm not aware of any site much closer than Napa. Woodland is probably the best bet, and they are a great bunch of guys.

We have a site in Santa Clara, but if Napa's too far, Santa Clara is way too far. But if I want to fly during the week, it's a drive to Napa for me, too - about 100 miles one way through Bay Area traffic.
